RE: P30 cruise doesn't engage

Gm had some brake light switches that after a few years would have to much resistance and this would prevent cruise to work..also as stated above check brake tail and turn lights for everything working. I do not know what year your coach is..

RE: Ford 460 FI dies after 20 miles - FIXED Thanksl!!!

Ford has some Fuel pump issues but the Ing Module has a 40% rate of failing..A quick way to test Ing module was to place a 100w light bulb on it and run the engin for 20 minuets.. If it shuts down you found the probem..Fuel pump the motorhome would have to be driven with a pressure guage hooked up to see if it fails.. remember you lose Injector pulse when Ing module fails so No fuel when Ing module fails...

RE: XC Chassis 300 HP Cummins ISB - Operating Temp

Our Motorhome ran on the warm side after I bought it on E-bay. I talked to cummins and then Freightliner and it was reccomended that I made the vent tube longer and pressure wash the Radiator..After spending a few hours soaking the radiator with Awesom (4 bottles in a hudson sprayer) I then pressure washed the radiator and fan..it looked like mudd as I washed out the radiator and cooler along with all kinds of sticks, leaves, and and what looked like sand...Now it runs at just a bit over 1/3 of the guage and then creeps to just past 1/2 way on hills with the AC on and towing a small car...

The things I use the most (and suprised I do) are Pressure pro and GPS that came on used coach. I am also suprised at useing the washer/dryer combo and the built in vacume...all things I never used or thought we would have needed before.

RE: Class A Hot Water Heater Survey?

Well If your camping in the back yard of a friend you dont run the water heater on elect 24-7 because you respect the fact that someone else is paying the elect bill...I run water heater on propane for 30 min or so before shower as its fricken hot outside and only take a few minuets to get to a comfortable temp as it saves on Propane too. By the way I am camping in Bagmans back yard at his shop!

RE: Does anybody from the Flying J company monitor this forum.

I picked up fuel at Flying J in Kingman AZ Sunday noon. The Truck divers were back up blocking part of Andy devine BLvd.. Blowing horns and useing flat terrible language on CH19. The RV lane was blocked by a truck and he was doing this on purpose because there was a Motorhome fueling in truck area..the police showed up and things quickly changed. One of the main problem truck drivers was a woman who was leading the disruption as she was in a hurry..

RE: Does anybody from the Flying J company monitor this forum.

I had the same problem in AZ at the border on I10..Flying J had an employee waveing DPs to go and fuel up in the Truck area. I pulled in and the first thing I got was a truck driver asking me how many gallons I was getting and how long would I be. I ask him "whats your point?" He then turned and walked away as my wife was standing there and he was scared she would kick his XXX. I am also tired of dirty islands, in-op card readers along with missing or dried out windshield washing equipment all the while I am spending 300+ bucks!. I would like Flying J to respond as I will use 3200bucks worth of fuel in the next 4 weeks and wonder if tey would want me to use Loves instead? I might add 90% of the drivers I have meet at the fuel Islands have been nice folks...

front end bra on motorhome

Our Expedition came with a bra that fits on the front end and I wonder if folks that have them use them? I never liked them much because I saw alot of damage to paint on front ends of Vette's when I worked for GM dealers.

One of the things that works for me is LOTS of water and FLUSH often. The only time I use blue stuff or powder stuff is when we are dry camping in warm weather..

RE: Chev 454 Carb Misfiring -- Help -- Near Wits End

We had many a bad Ing module that would go bad when hot and start missing. There is also another problem I discovered on new plug wires is that if you didnt use factory wire holders and guides and made the mistake of tapeing or wraping 2 or more plug wires togeather when hot they would start fireing togeather thus creating a backfire under load (high kv demand) when hot!.. And the one that took me several hours to find was a bad diode trio in the ALT and discovered that the misfire would go away when I took the hot lead off the ALT..
